Frequently Asked Questions

What curriculum do you follow?

We follow the Ontario (Canada) curriculum. Students work towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) through our partner Toronto Imperial School (BSID 881941). The OSSD can be used to apply to universities in the Czech Republic and the EU; some universities ask for nostrification.

What languages are used for instruction?

All lessons are taught in English. Twice a week after lessons there is a free extra language class: Spanish, Czech, German or French, chosen by the class.

Can my child transfer from another school?

Yes, also during the school year. A student who joins later catches up on the material, assignments and tests from 1 September to earn the OSSD credits. We ask for report cards for every completed grade from Grade 9.

How are students assessed?

Students receive grades and teacher feedback in every course. Parents get access to the student's account: attendance, grades, teacher feedback and homework status.

How do I get to the school?

By public transport: the Maniny bus stop is a 3-minute walk from the school, the Dělnická tram stop 7 minutes and Palmovka metro station 12 minutes. By car: the school has its own parking on site. Address: Jankovcova 1566/2b, 170 00 Praha 7.

Is uniform required?

Yes, from Monday to Thursday; Friday is a free-dress day. The uniform is included in the tuition.

How much does it cost?

290,000 CZK per year (2026/27), payable by 31 July before the school year starts. Included: uniform, personal iPad, gym membership, university guidance and university campus visits (travel paid separately). Not included: meals, textbooks, exams and trips. There are no discounts or scholarships.
